PLAYGROUP

Eligibility for Playgroup is that the child should be 1.5+ years. We take admission to Playgroup between 1.5 to 2.5 years. The duration of the session is 2.5 to 3 hours, each session being of 30 minutes duration five days a week. In Playgroup, the children are engaged in fun-filled activities that will combine problem-solving activities and communication building. In this section main focus is to improve their fine and gross motor skills with activities based on it. Kids love our rhyme and storytelling session and most of the time participate with complete enthusiasm. This is a good time to lay the foundation of language skills. Also hand hygiene, eating without help, keeping their space tidy, cleaning tasks, folding clothes are also a part of their fun-filled activities. We believe in a play-way method and in doing so have the kids enjoy the grass ground session every day for 30 to 40 minutes with proper water breaks. The fun-based activities with and without the ball helps them in enhancing their locomotor skills. After these sessions, the children are encouraged to wash their hands and eat their food (as they come back from play hungry) after a short prayer. We sometimes play the hand hygiene rhyme as well to make the hand-hygiene process more fun. Ekam classes are enriched to make a difference!

NURSERY

Eligibility for Nursery is that the child should be 3+ years. We take admission to Nursery between 2.5 to 3.5 years. The duration of the session is 3+ hours, each session being of 30 minutes duration five days a week. In Nursery, children are engaged in school readiness activities such as reading, writing, counting, number recognition, and problem-solving in a fun-filled but purposeful manner. We focus on communication and expression skills. There are numerous fun-filled activities and practice worksheets to develop math and science skills. In Nursery as well focus is there on fine and gross motor skills. Rhyme time, storytelling sessions, and library time are loved by children of this age group. Also hand hygiene, eating without help, keeping their space tidy, cleaning tasks, folding clothes, watering plants, etc. are also a part of their fun-filled activities. We believe in a play-way method and in doing so have the kids enjoy the grass ground session every day for 30 to 40 minutes with proper water breaks. Eligibility for LKG or Junior Kindergarten is that the child should be 3.5+ years. We take admission to LKG between 3.5 to 4.5 years. The duration of the session is 3+ hours, each session being of 30 minutes duration five days a week. In LKG, children are engaged in activities to help them prepare for formal schooling by involving them in age-appropriate activities. Reading, writing, and communication are the key focus at this age. Phonetics is emphasized in the daily lesson plans. Numerical skills, problem-solving, etc. are more enhanced in a fun-filled activity-based manner. There are numerous practice worksheets to develop language, math, and general awareness skills. In LKG as well focus is there on fine and gross motor skills. Rhyme time, storytelling sessions, and library time are loved by children of this age group. Also hand hygiene, eating without help, keeping their space tidy, cleaning tasks, folding clothes, watering plants, nature walk, cleaning initiatives, clay modeling, pouring of water, orange peeling, banana peeling, etc. are also a part of their fun-filled activities. We believe in a play-way method and in doing so have the kids enjoy the grass ground session every day for 30 to 40 minutes with proper water breaks. The fun-based activities with and without the ball helps them in enhancing their locomotor skills. At this age, we start to introduce basketball, football, and tennis for beginners. After these sessions, the children are encouraged to wash their hands and eat their food (as they come back from play hungry) after a short prayer. We sometimes play the hand hygiene rhyme as well to make the hand-hygiene process more fun. Ekam classes are enriched to make a difference!

UKG

Eligibility for UKG or Senior Kindergarten is that the child should be 4.5+ years. We take admission to UKG between 4.5 to 5.5 years. The duration of the session is 3.5+ hours, each session being of 30 minutes duration five days a week. In UKG, children are engaged in more significant activities to help them prepare for formal schooling by involving them in age-appropriate activities. Reading, writing, and communication are the key focus at this age. Phonetics is emphasized in the daily lesson plans. Numerical skills, problem-solving, etc. are more enhanced in a fun-filled activity-based manner. There are numerous practice worksheets to develop language, math, and general awareness skills. In UKG as well focus is there on fine and gross motor skills. Rhyme time, storytelling sessions, and library time are loved by children of this age group. Enhancement of social, emotional and personal skills is taken care of most at this stage. Circle time is the usual engagement with fun-filled themed activities. Also hand hygiene, eating without help, keeping their space tidy, cleaning tasks, folding clothes, watering plants, nature walk, cleaning initiatives, clay modeling, pouring of water, orange peeling, banana peeling, etc. are also a part of their fun-filled activities. We believe in a play-way method and in doing so have the kids enjoy the grass ground session every day for 30 to 40 minutes with proper water breaks. DAYCARE

For the daycare kids which we run from approx 9 am to 7 pm for age group less than 1.5 years (on availability basis), Ekam is a home away from home. For kids above 1.5 to 2 years daycare typically starts after 1 pm, before that they are enrolled in the school program. We have a list of fun-filled activities that are age-appropriate and well-planned so that the time of the children is spent constructively and fruitfully. Ekam classes and activities are enriched to make a difference!

SPORTS

Sport is all forms of usually competitive physical activity which, through casual or organized participation, aim to use, maintain or improve physical ability and skills while providing entertainment to participants. Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the children and develop their team spirit. It helps children to develop physical and mental toughness. Children should actively participate in sports to avoid being tired and lethargic. This is because sports improve their blood circulation and their physical well-being. At Ekam for the age group of less than 6 years we have focused classes in the evenings and the weekends for Tennis, Skating, and Karate. However, for the age group above 6 years, kids also participate in football, basketball, cricket, table tennis, and chess classes. All these classes are run by trained and well-equipped coaches who have been looking after the overall development of children with the enhancement of the particular game skills and also teach them life skills. Each class usually is of 1-hour duration and we focus on warm-up, stretching activities, skill enhancement, activity-based games, and cool-down exercises.

ACTIVITIES

Ekam learning is to make a difference supported by many activity-based age-appropriate classes and activities like dance, drawing, handwriting improvement, and phonetics. Typically, they are of a 1-hour duration, but depending on the day’s lesson plan it may be extended.

TUITION

Ekam Tuition Classes are typically for age groups between 6 to 12 years. We try to focus on strengthening the base in each subject. The goal is to improve the reading, writing, and communication skill through education which will carry with the child forever. The timing is from 3 pm to 7 pm with 1.5 hours each day between Monday to Friday. In the class we try to complete any homework given from the school along with two other subjects depending on the learning intake of the child. Usually, there is homework given to the kids which we will ask the parents to strictly monitor only.

SMART KIDS PROGRAM

At Ekam, we try to make the learning program encouraging, exciting, and enriching. The Smart Kids program has been developed to have the kids spend their time constructively, creatively, and fruitfully between 3 to 7 pm and it usually runs for 2 hours between Monday and Friday. You can pick your days and activities for which you want to enroll the child. The goal is to improve the reading, writing, and communication skill through activity-based, fun-filled education programs which will carry with the child forever. This program mainly focuses on the age group of below 6 years. This program makes an easy pathway to bigger schools.

  • Ekam teachers are very patient with their children. Our baby with zero foundation can also understand and master the content of the class through the teacher ’s expressions and body movements.
  • My child is very sensitive to language and is in a critical period of learning. I was hoping that he will be exposed to pure expression from an early age. The Ekam teachers have helped my child with the pronunciations and its flattering to see my child talk English so fluently at this tiny age. I am very happy!
  • The atmosphere of the class is very good, The Ekam curriculum is suitable for children to learn the language and etiquette. During class, children are always attracted by the rich teaching scenes and games. They learn loudly while following, and they are very interested. I often come back from work and hear his voice before I enter the house.
  • I love Ekam and its process-oriented approach. That’s mainly because of their ISO certification. All team members follow a step-by-step process before receiving the kids and it is wonderful to see the care our kids receive at Ekam. They offer a safe and secure environment.
  • Curriculum wise they have a high-frequency input, coupled with an interest, and we can clearly feel the progress of listening and speaking. It is said that Ekam’s classes are fun and not tiring or cumbersome. My kid loves the lessons.
  • I had a tough time with my child not starting to speak even at the age of 3+ years. With Ekam’s phonetics and focused communication classes we could see the difference in his speech and enhancement of capabilities.
